Vaccination protects your pets from various infectious diseases and many potentially life-threatening illnesses. At Ridgeview animal Hospital, we offer a wide range of vaccines to your dogs and cats. During your visit, our veterinarians will recommend an individualized vaccine plan based on age, clinical condition, and the lifestyle of your pet.
Dog Vaccination:
- Core Vaccines: DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza), Rabies. All dogs should have core vaccines unless there is a medical reason not to vaccinate.
- Non-Core Vaccines: Bordetella, Leptospirosis, Lyme. These vaccines are essential based on the lifestyle and risk.
- Vaccination Schedule: Our veterinarians will advise on the appropriate vaccination protocol for your pet at the time of consultation.
Cat Vaccination:
- Core Vaccines: FVRCCP (Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, Chlamydia), Rabies. All cats should have core vaccines unless there is a medical reason not to vaccinate.
- Non-Core Vaccines: FeLv (Feline Leukemia). This vaccine is essential based on the lifestyle and risk.
- Vaccination Schedule: Our veterinarian will recommend an appropriate vaccination protocol for your pet at the time of consultation.
