Locally Owned Veterinary Care in Surrey
Ridgeview Animal Hospital is an AAHA-accredited veterinary clinic located at 10833 160 Street, Unit 605, Surrey, BC V4N 1P3, Canada. We serve dog and cat families across Fraser Heights, Guildford, North Surrey, Port Kells, and the surrounding communities. We provide wellness, dental, surgical, in-house diagnostic, urgent, and end-of-life care, and we are licensed by the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia.
We’re locally owned and built around a simple promise: clear answers, fewer referrals, and no surprises. Most diagnostics, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and our in-house oxygen chamber, are handled under one roof, which means most pets leave with a treatment plan the same day. We provide written estimates before any procedure, offer Trupanion direct billing, and work with iFinance for families who’d like to spread larger expenses over time.

Dr. Gunam Iyathurai
Owner / VeterinarianDr. Iyathurai founded Ridgeview Animal Hospital and leads the team day-to-day. He holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Science, with personal interests in soft tissue surgery and emergency medicine. He focuses on making every visit easier through clear communication, written estimates, and the time it takes to actually answer questions.

Is there an emergency vet in North Surrey I can call?
If your dog or cat needs care during the day, we offer same-day urgent appointments whenever we're open. Outside our hours, we recommend contacting a 24-hour veterinary facility in the Lower Mainland for emergency support. Save our number, (604) 359-6464, and your nearest 24-hour clinic in your phone before you need them.
My pet is acting unusual today. What should I do?
Call us at (604) 359-6464. We keep same-day urgent slots open every day we're open and will fit you in. Please call ahead before coming in so we can prepare the team and the exam room.
Are you open evenings and on Saturdays?
Yes. We're open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 7:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. We're closed Sunday.
