About Ridgeview Animal Hospital

At Ridgeview Animal Hospital, we care for the dogs and cats that share your life, from first puppy and kitten visits through to their senior years and gentle goodbyes. We are an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital located at 10833 160 Street, Unit 605, Surrey, BC V4N 1P3, and we serve dog and cat families across Fraser Heights, Fleetwood, Guildford, North Surrey, and Port Kells.

What AAHA accreditation actually means for your pet

AAHA accreditation is a voluntary standard that fewer than 15% of veterinary hospitals in North America hold. To earn it, a hospital is independently evaluated against more than 900 standards covering patient care, safety, cleanliness, pain management, anaesthetic protocols, medical recordkeeping, and client communication. Maintaining accreditation means we welcome that scrutiny and review our protocols against those standards every few years. For you, the practical outcome is that the care your pet receives at Ridgeview is held to a consistent, externally verified standard.

We are also fully registered with the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia (CVBC), the regulatory body that licenses veterinarians and accredits veterinary facilities across the province.

Services under one roof in Fraser Heights

Our team provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, including wellness exams and preventive care, vaccinations, pet dentistry, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, in-house diagnostics (bloodwork, urinalysis, digital radiography, and ultrasound), urgent care during clinic hours, house-call services for pets who are more comfortable being examined at home, and compassionate end-of-life care.

For pets who need closer monitoring, our facility supports full in-clinic hospitalization. Because feline patients often feel calmer when they are not sharing space with dogs, we also offer a quieter cat-friendly exam room designed to make visits easier for both you and your cat.

Rooted in the Fraser Heights community

Ridgeview is not a name we picked off a shelf. It is the community where we practice, and we try to support it in meaningful ways. We sponsor local community events, fund annual scholarships for Fraser Heights students, host educational tours for elementary school groups curious about how a veterinary hospital works, and partner with animal rescue organizations that serve dogs and cats across North Surrey, Guildford, and Port Kells.

Care that meets your pet where they are

Every visit looks a little different because every pet is a little different. Some need a long, slow introduction. Some are happy to walk in and say hello. Some are dealing with something difficult. Our job is to understand both you and your pet and provide care that respects where everyone is on that particular day.
